Falling into Darkness
This project showcases the level design skills I have developed, focusing on player navigation, atmosphere, and emotional pacing. The level begins with a tense, moody environment that encourages exploration as players learn to read the space and find their path forward. Once they reach a central chamber, the floor collapses and they are dropped into a deep pit, triggering an intense chase sequence. This sudden shift in pace forces players to think quickly and make decisive choices as they navigate to safety and complete the level.
